ALL ABOUT MACK!!
Birthplace/Hometown: Denver but Grand Junction is where I GREW up and will always be Home.
Favorite Song: I started to answer this but then I realized I love soo many different types of music the list would be huge! From Horse with No Name, Forever in Blue Jeans to Building Brides, I have several favorites.
Favorite Artist: Darryl Worley will always have a place in my heart because of what he did at Country Jam. Here’s the story: He was running early so Worley and Restless Heart traded places in the line up. Noble & I had just interviewed him and I explained how disappointed my mom was going to be because she was coming later and would miss his show. He actually acted disappointed! The cool thing was, my Mom showed up early and she got to see the show. Afterwards, backstage Worley was running one direction I was running another and I shouted, “Hey my Mom loved your show.” He stopped in his tracks and said, “Well, where is she.” When I explained she was in general admission he told me to go get her so he could say "Hi". I was flabbergasted! Even though his manager told him that they didn’t have time he waited while I got my mom from General to Backstage and gave her a huge hug like he’d know her forever. I almost cry thinking about it.
Favorite Movie: I love kids movies so I’m going to have to say “We’re Back!”
Favorite TV Show: Deadwood on HBO (western)
Favorite Food/Meal: Tortillas for food and Goulash for Meal
Pet Peeve: Bad Drivers, & people crunching on things like my mom crunching ice.
Interests/Hobbies: Reading, Camping

Hometown: Born and raised right here in Grand Junction. Favorite Artist: Hands down Johnny Cash. I've always loved Cash's music. He never cared what people might say about some of his lyrics. It was just him out there performing for his fans and I love that about him. Also, his ability to overcome his drug problems and "Lady issues" shows that he is just like every other human being out there. Favorite Song: Country: Get Rythm, Non-Country: Attention Spand by Rebelution. Favorite sports teams:Locally: Have to stick with my team the Grand Junction Tigers. Also, huge fan of all Colorado Mesa Sports. Professionally: My Colorado teams are the Nugz and the Broncs. Outside of Colorado I like the Boston Celtics, the Boston Red Sox and the Minnesota Vikings. Favorite Movie: Biodome has always been my favorite movie. But I have recently fallen in love with "The Last Airbender". Favorite TV show: The Simpsons Last Meal: Biscuits and Sausage Gravy with a layer of Ham, Eggs, and Green Pork Chili. Favorite Drink: Non-Alcoholic-Orange Cream Soda. Alcoholic-Jameson and Gingerale Interest Hobbies: Love to play Football, Baseball and Basketball along with calling the games. I also love Snowboarding, Hiking, Rafting and pretty much anything outdoors. Pet Peeve: I can't stand when women do the baby voice or when guys or girls play dumb. Career Background: I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Sports Management and a Minor in Mass Communications. I volunteered for KAFM Community Radio for over 2 years. I also broadcasted Play-by-Play for the Mavericks with the college station KMSA. I have held many restaurant positions, construction jobs, and customer service jobs. I love music and sports, and working everyday for Cumulus Broadcasting doesn't feel like work for one minute. What did you want to be growing up?: I always wanted to be a Professional Football player or a Professional Sports Broadcaster.

Blair Garner is one of the most successful air personalities in the country, winning the Academy of Country Music's On-Air Personality of the Year award in 2004 and the Academy of Country Music's National On-Air Personality of the Year award in 2006, and he has been nominated countless times for others, including the prestigious Marconi Award and for Nationally Syndicated Air Personality by Billboard. Over his career, Blair has worked at several popular stations across the country, including stations in Dallas, Washington, D.C., Houston, New York City and Los Angeles.
Blair is the youngest of three boys raised by Gary and Mariellen Garner. His father was the director of the West Texas A&M University Band in Texas for 38 years. His oldest brother, Brad, followed in Gary's musical footsteps and teaches at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in Ohio, and at The Juilliard School of Music in New York. Blair's middle brother, Bryan, is a lexicographer in Dallas. Don't worry, Blair didn't know what it meant either. Actually, Bryan is a leading scholar on legal writing, and has several books published by The Oxford University Press. In his free time, Blair collects cars. At any given time, he usually has six to fifteen different cars ranging from Porsches and Ferraris to classic Cadillacs and Chryslers. Blair and his family reside in the Los Angeles area.
When asked about his amazing success, Blair quickly credits his parents. "My parents taught us all two very important lessons: First, my father taught us that if we were going to make a mistake, make it as big and loud and hairy as you possibly can. Commit yourself to it. If you're timid, you'll never reach the brass ring. Don't be afraid to fail. Secondly, my mom always told us that we were special. We could do anything we could dream. When you add those two lessons together, the results can be pretty powerful."
